The Express & Star is the biggest-selling regional evening newspaper in Britain. Founded in 1889, it is based in Wolverhampton, England, and covers the West Midlands and Staffordshire, including the Black Country.
Currently edited by Keith Harrison, the Express & Star publishes five editions a day Monday to Friday and one edition on a Saturday. In the first half of 2012, the newspaper had a daily circulation of 100,244. It features a mix of regional and national news and has a strong following for its sports coverage of association football, particularly local teams Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.
